Best of Christmas with the Culbertsons

25 December 2009 | Uncategorized

Here’s a little glimpse of our morning for those who wanted to be here but couldn’t.

I FINALLY FINISHED THE STOCKINGS! And in the nick of time. It was a whirlwind of Christmas Eve activity finishing the last few projects. We finally made it to bed at 5am Christmas morning to catch three hours of sleep before the kids awoke demanded we get up. We’re hoping that is a record for late Christmas Eve nights that will stand for years and years. Back to the stockings, they  are lined inside with the reindeer scarf print. I’m pretty pleased with how they turned out. The embroidery was a ton of work, but I’d do it again.

Here’s a clip of them opening the stockings.

Then we had a light breakfast including cranberry smoothies made from our fresh snow. Yum!

We took a lot of video, but since this is just the highlights, here’s our favorite home video of the day. The dragon came from my brother and his wife. I’ll refrain from making further comments on that.

The kids with all their gifts. Thank you everyone!

And our family picture to hang on the tree next year.

Loved the videos! I’ve watched them several times now. My favorite is the dragon one. “You don’t want it?” There are several blank spots, though, where it looks like you have pictures posted but they didn’t show up for the rest of us. What are we missing out on?

i loved it too…but my favorite was the fact he started out with three peppermint patties and eventually stacked them all up! What a joy to watch! Hope you are all doing well!
