• 7:00 Kaelem goes to bed
• 7:30 Jed goes to bed, Sarah finishes chores
• 8:00 Sarah enjoys quiet and writes post
• 9:00 Sarah feeds, burps, & changes Quincy
• 10:00 Sarah checks on Kaelem. Freaks out split second because he’s not in his bed. Finds him asleep hunched over in the rocking chair.
• 10:30 Quincy asleep in pack-n-play! Sarah goes to bed.

AM

• 1:00 Quincy wakes up to eat. Sarah changes poopy diaper.
• 2:00 Quincy not liking pack-n-play anymore. Moves to mom and daddy’s bed.
• 2:30 Sarah and Jed just drift back to sleep when a violent eruption comes out of Quincy’s mouth and all over bed. Jed changes sheets. Sarah changes Quincy’s clothes.
• 3:00 Still not sleeping. Jed goes downstairs to watch channel 77 (static) with Quincy.
• Twilight Zone: I think we get 4 hours of sleep.
• 7:00 Kaelem wakes up for breakfast.

For the last two weeks, I’ve had, “the Lord gives sleep to those he loves” in the forefront of my mind. Today, catching up on some reading in Psalms, I came to that one and laughed when the very next verse is, “Sons are a heritage from the Lord, children a reward from him.” Not that I don’t believe it. Just found it humorous.

ps- In case it seemed that I was doing most of the work, I should clarify that Jed was sick. He also went in to work later so that I could sleep more this morning.
