I haven’t posted since last year!

Jed is away on business. Haha. that sounds so professional. Well, it just so happens to be his profession to check out skate parks, ski lodges, and movie theaters before transporting 100 kids 200 miles to these destinations. He and Jason and Heather are in Duluth making plans for our Senior High Retreat, coming up in February. I had planned on tagging along with them and then remembered that Kaelem would be tagging along with me, so decided it would be best for everyone if I stayed behind. Instead, I went to MOPS, strolled with Aleta at the mall, and watched a chic flick with the girls. It was also my plan that Kaelem would get a bath, pj’s, bedtime dinner, fall into a nice slumber on the car ride to Greta’s (for the movie), stay sleeping in his carseat placed in a back bedroom for a couple hours, stay sleeping for the car ride back home, stay sleeping while I unbuckled him and put him in his crib, stayed sleeping while I finished this blog, and then wake up refreshed at, ohhhh, 10am. Well, instead he woke up as soon as we arrived at Greta’s and wanted to watch our movie, Hairspray. That boy…he stayed up and happy for the whole thing and rubbed his eyes when it was over. I couldn’t believe it. He did fall asleep on the way home and is now in his crib still sleeping. I will end the post here so that my plan can continue.
